Practice Videos

When you record practice sessions, we collect:

  • Video and audio recordings of your practice sessions

  • AI-generated analysis and feedback for your videos

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Practice session history and progress data
  • App usage patterns (features used, session duration)
  • Device information (device type, operating system version)

  • Teacher-student relationships: If you connect with a teacher, they can view your practice videos, scores, and progress
  • AI analysis: Practice videos are sent to Google Gemini for analysis

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data through the App
  • Update your profile information at any time
  • Delete your account and all associated data (Profile > Delete Account)
  • Opt out of practice reminders and notifications

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data, practice videos, analyses, and progress data are permanently deleted within 30 days.

MyMusicBuddy is designed to be used by music students of all ages, including children under 13. For users under 13, we recommend that a parent or guardian creates and manages the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
